Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper describes, discusses, and provides details of the methods of calculating two indices for assessing the properties of sources of artificial illumination: the Color Rendering Index for illuminants used for the critical examination of colored objects, and the Color Preference Index for those used for the appreciative viewing of colors.
