Modified Adjacent Frequency Coding for Increased Notch Depth in MB-OFDM under DAA/Spectral Sculpting

Abstract

The current regulatory outlook indicates the need for some detect and avoid (DAA) mechanism aimed at mitigating the effects of UWB interference on incumbent radio services. This paper presents a revised method for increasing the notch depth at an MB-OFDM WiMedia PHY transmitter operating under DAA guidelines in the presence of protected in-band services
