Second Harmonic Generation of Surface Acoustic Waves from a Dot Array

Abstract

This paper surveys the generation of a second harmonic component of surface acoustic waves from a dot array which replaces a surface acoustic waveguide on the piezoelectric substrate. The direction of propagation for second harmonic can be controlled by frequency and periodic length of dots.
