Effect of Total Nasal Obstruction on Nocturnal Oxygen Saturation

Abstract

Total nasal packing causes significant nocturnal oxygen desaturation. This must be taken into account in the postoperative nasal packing of patients with respiratory failure, obesity, or SDB.
