Chelate‐Stabilized Diphosphene and Diphosphorus Complexes of Nickel

Abstract

The Novel P2-complexes 1 have been obtained by reaction of (chelate) NiCl2 with silylphosphanes. Compounds 1, which are of interest, inter alia, as analogues of acetylene complexes, can be described in terms of the isolobal relationship as bicyclobutane derivatives.
