Polypharmacy in psychiatric outpatient practice in northern Nigeria

Abstract

The complex interplay of factors influencing physician prescription practices requires that a more pragmatic approach be adopted in efforts to curtail polypharmacy practice, rather than a wholesale, absolute condemnation of the practice.
