Study of a CPW‐fed circular slot antenna for UWB communications

Abstract

Abstract A numerical and experimental study of a circular‐slot antenna, fed by a coplanar waveguide with a rectangular stub, is proposed in this paper for ultra‐wideband communications. The antenna impedance bandwidth, phase linearity, gain and radiation patterns are presented, together with the time‐domain impulse response. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
