Abstract

TUMORS of trophoblastic origin may arise either in the uterus or in the gonads. They are characteristically highly malignant and spread rapidly both by direct extension and by metastasis to lungs and brain and less commonly to numerous other sites.We wish to report our experience with the treatment of 6 women and 5 men suffering from choriocarcinoma or related trophoblastic disease.
