Abstract

Nuclear orientation experiments on $^{54}\mathrm{Mn}$ in copper indicate an anomalous low-temperature susceptibility for very dilute CuMn alloys. This is interpreted in terms of a Kondo condensation with ${T}_{\mathrm{K}}$ about 0.06\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}K.
