Abstract

Delayed excimer emission in liquid naphthalene, β-methylnaphthalene, and α-methylnaphthalene was used to estimate the specific rate of triplet–triplet interaction and triplet yield. The large values of the interaction rate are consistent with a rapid energy migration in these pure fluids.
