Increased carotid artery intima-media thickness and impaired endothelial function in psoriasis

Abstract

Psoriasis patients had impaired endothelial function and thicker IMT of the CCA, compared with the healthy control subjects. The presence of psoriasis was an independent risk factor for subclinical atherosclerosis.
