The value of a plastic adhesive drape in the prevention of wound infection a controlled trial

Abstract

Abstract A series of 921 operations was studied. Random cases were treated by preliminary application of a plastic adhesive drape, the remainder being controls. No significant difference was observed in the rate of wound infection between the two groups.
