We propose a new objective criterion potentially capable of discriminating between the different laws which aim at describing the frequency dependence of the temperature of the susceptibility maximum in spin glasses. By applying this criterion to different systems, we found that the power law (which follows from dynamic scaling theory) gives a better account of the available experimental evidence.
