Abstract Starting from the readily available 2‐substituted‐4‐formylselenazoles and 2‐substituted‐4‐formylthiazoles, a series of substituted‐pyrrolo[3,2‐ d ]selenazoles and substituted‐pyrrolo[3,2‐ d |‐thiazoles were prepared respectively.
