Abstract Summary: The gelation process of aqueous clay (Laponite XLS, XLG) dispersions and of a photopolymerization system ( N ‐isopropylacrylamide, Irgacure 2959, Laponite XLS) have been investigated by dynamic light scattering. The gelation threshold could be clearly indicated by a change in the shape of the time‐intensity correlation function.
