Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Expression in Pancreatic Carcinoma Using Tissue Microarray Technique

Abstract

EGFR is overexpressed in pancreatic cancers independent of histopathologic characteristics and does not predict survival. Immunohistochemical analysis of EGFR staining may help in identifying candidates for EGFR inhibitor therapy.
