Teaching qualitative research: who does what?

Abstract

Ironically, this article about teaching qualitative research methods courses is based on survey data and course syllabi. Seventy‐three professors who teach qualitative research methods in U.S. colleges of education responded to a questionnaire. Their responses tell us something about those who teach qualitative inquiry, the acceptance of qualitative research approaches among college of education faculty, and how qualitative research courses are taught.
