The peculiarities and anomalies of electrooptic and electrogyration properties in solid solutions on the basis of lead germanate crystals Pb5Gc3O11 with partial iso- and heterovalent substitution Pb2+ → Ba2+; Pb2+ → Bi3+; Ge4+ → Si4+ are studied. The experimental investigation results including spontaneous and induced effects in the vicinity of the phase transition are mainly illustrated with the data for solutions containing silicon. The electrooptic and electrogyration coefficients are determined. [Russian Text Ignored].
