More Training Needed in Chronic Care: A Survey of U.S. Physicians

Abstract

Physicians perceived their medical training for chronic illness care was inadequate. Medical schools and residencies may need to modify curricula to better prepare physicians to treat the growing number of people with chronic conditions.
