Surgical Management of Isolated Hemangioblastomas of the Spinal Cord

Abstract

Isolated intramedullary hemangioblastomas typically have an indolent clinical course. These tumors have characteristic imaging properties on magnetic resonance imaging and angiography. Surgical removal of these lesions results in excellent long-term functional outcome.
