Highly stretchable conductors are fabricated by polyelectrolyte-brush-induced metal electroless deposition on a prestrained elastomer. Upon release of the prestrain, the metal film on top buckles. The buckled metallic elastomer can maintain stable metallic conductivity under repetitive stretching. Detailed facts of importance to specialist readers are published as ”Supporting Information”.
