Real time movie images by NMR

Abstract

We report the first real time NMR movie images obtained by studying cardiac motion in a rabbit. The images are produced using the high speed echo-planar method. Six frames from the movie loop are presented in this paper and demonstrate the snapshot ability of echo-planar imaging to freeze the heart motion in arbitrary phases in the cardiac cycle.
