Distribution of Energy Eigenvalues in the Irregular Spectrum

Abstract

The distribution of energy eigenvalues in the irregular spectrum is derived in the semiclassical limit $\ensuremath{\hbar}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}0$ by use of a plausible assumption on the spatial distribution of the corresponding eigenfunctions.
