Abstract

It has been shown previously that the effectivc magnetic field at the nucleus of ferromagnetic iron is strongly correlated with the magnetization. This correlation was established by observing the change in the hyperfinc splitting of the nuclear energy levels of Fc/sup 57/. The effeciive field was determined to be --333 k gauss. (B.O.G.)
