From environmental assessment results to Design for Environment product changes: An evaluation of quantitative and qualitative methods

Abstract

This paper evaluates quantitative and qualitative methods to work out a reduction of the environmental burden of products. The evaluation of the analysed methods is carried out along criteria indicating the ability to support designers in decision-making in the product development process.
