Objective Comparison of Stapled Anopexy and Open Hemorrhoidectomy

Abstract

Stapled anopexy is an effective alternative treatment for prolapsing hemorrhoids that allows reduced operative time and shorter rehabilitation. It does not appear to affect continence or overall quality of life.
