Abstract

"Thermodynamic slowing down" effects on interdiffusion are demonstrated in binary mixtures of normal and deuterated polystyrene. The interdiffusion coefficient is shown to undergo a minimum in the vicinity of a critical blend composition ${\ensuremath{\Phi}}_{c}$. This effect increases with decreasing temperature.
