In this paper we detail steps in the process of getting free of anorexia/bulimia. An edited version of a correspondence between the first two authors follows that records Ms. Morris' experience in breaking free of a twenty-three year tyrannical relationship with anorexia/bulimia. The correspondence illustrates practices that assist persons in forging a new relationship with anorexia/bulimia. Finally, Ms. Morris evaluates the benefits of these practices.
