A Proposed Variant of Hyperkeratosis Penetrans

Abstract

The second case of a variant of Kyrle's disease limited to the palmar creases of the hands is presented. Although the histopathologic picture is similar, the clinical features of Kyrle's original description and the present case are markedly different. The role of trauma in producing the disease is discussed.
