Abstract

A unified approach to unambiguous synthesis of the phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphates involved in intracellular signalling is illustrated by the synthesis of 1d-1-(1′,2′-dihexadecanoyl-sn-glycero-3′-phospho)-myo-inositol-3,4,5-trisphsphate.
