Plasma visfatin levels in pregnant women with normal glucose tolerance, gestational diabetes and pre-gestational diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Our results support the literature indicating higher visfatin levels in women with GDM compared to women with normal glucose tolerance. Interestingly, we found similarly high visfatin levels in women with pre-GDM.
