The angiographic diagnosis of anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the pulmonary artery is reported in two patients with associated congenital cardiac malformations. The coronary anomaly was corrected surgically in both cases by transplanting the aberrant vessel into the aorta. Because surgical trauma or ligation of the aberrant vessel may cause symptoms of myocardial ischaemia, preoperative angiographic identification of the potentially curable coronary anomaly is important.
