Iron Deficiency Among Children of Asylum Seekers in The Netherlands

Abstract

Iron deficiency is highly prevalent among the children of asylum seekers in the Netherlands. Our data indicate that systematic biochemical screening for ID is warranted in asylum seekers' children.
