The diffusion rates of oxygen in alpha and beta Zircaloy 2 and Zircaloy 3 were determined in the range 1000°–1500°C. For alpha Zircaloy 2, the variation of the diffusion coefficient, , in cm2/sec, with temperature is given by the equation
