Intermediality: Disciplinary flux or formalist retrenchment?

This issue therefore takes the opportunity to bring recent work carried out by two of the term’s Francophone proponents into English in the form of André Gaudreault and Philippe Marion’s ‘The mysterious affair of styles in the age of kine‐attractography’.
