Effect of beta-adrenergic stimulation on pulse wave velocity in black and white subjects

Abstract

These results are compatible with the hypothesis of an altered beta-adrenergic sensitivity, which is expressed by a blunted effect of isoproterenol on arterial stiffness in black subjects.
