The outdoor to indoor propagation of microwave frequency at 28 GHz is investigated. The indoor location is an empty standard open landscape office and the outdoor unit is placed on the roof of a neighboring building 70 m from the office. The chosen scenario gives the possibility to measure path loss through both standard window glass and coated glass, known for its high transmission loss also at lower radio frequencies. The excess loss due to transmission through walls is presented together with the results of a long-term measurement.
