Nicotine Induces Resistance to Chemotherapy in Nasal Epithelial Cancer

Abstract

Nicotine inhibits chemotherapy-induced apoptosis in NC via the AKT and MAPK-mediated signaling pathways. We speculate that nicotine may play a role in oncogenesis and resistance to cancer therapy in NC.
