The effect of small disturbances of the Coriolis force on the stability of the five equilibrium points is in- vestigated. As basic model, the restricted problem of three bodies is used in a synodic coordinate system. A linear relation is found between the critical value of the mass parameter and the deviation of the magni- tude of the Coriolis force. The perturbation analysis regarding the Coriolis force is linear; the results regard- ing stability are, however, valid also in the nonlinear case.
