The paper discusses effects of bending on domain configurations and losses of HI-B sheets with stress coating. Two-dimensional loss topograms were determined using a new test system based on raster-scanning the specimen surface with a thermistor. For longitudinal bending, considerable loss increases resulted. Transverse domains were generated on the concave and annihilated on the convex side respectively. In accordance with theoretical considerations, effects were contrary for transverse bending. Demagnetization of bended samples resulted in widening of wide main domains.
