Abstract The enantioselective Michael reaction of β‐dicarbonyl compounds with nitroolefins was achieved by using guanidine/bisthiourea bifunctional organocatalysts in which the functional groups are linked by a 1,3‐diamine moiety. Aromatic and aliphatic nitroolefins are compatible with both acyclic and cyclic β‐dicarbonyl compounds to afford the corresponding Michael adducts in yields of up to 99 % and enantioselectivity of up to 95 % ee .
