Some new and recent titles from the Botanical Monographs Series

Abstract

Sphagnum. inundatum Russow emend A. Eddy is lectotypified and combined with S. sub secundum Nees at the level of subspecies. S. auriculatum W.P. Schimper is a genetically distinct, but morphologically similar, species. S. subsecundum Nees subsp. subsecundum, S. subsecundum subsp. inundatum (Russ.) A. Eddy, stat. nov. and S. auriculatum W.P. Schimp. are described and figured and a key to their identification is given.
