Staphylococcus epidermidis in Urine Is Not Always Benign: A Case Report of Pyelonephritis in a Child

Abstract

UTIs caused by S. epidermidis in a previously healthy child should not be disregarded as a contaminant and further workup for urinary tract abnormality is indicated.
