Increased acceptance bandwidth for quasi-phasematchedsecond harmonicgeneration in LiNbO ₃ waveguides

Abstract

The authors demonstrate waveguide second harmonic generation using a variable-spaced phase-reversed quasi-phasematched grating that has an acceptance bandwidth 15 times greater than a uniformly quasi-phasematched interaction of the same length.
