Measurement of physical adsorption of gases at high pressure

Abstract

A dielectric method is described for the measurement of physisorption of gases at pressures up to 200 MPa. The adsorption measurements of methane on activated carbon obtained at moderate pressures are in good agreement with precedent results but reveal unexpected negative values at higher pressures.
