Abstract

Mortality after total anomalous pulmonary venous connection repair has decreased but remains highest in young patients and in those with cardiac connection type or pulmonary venous obstruction. Unfavorable anatomic characteristics remain important determinants of postrepair survival despite improved perioperative care.
