Abstract

The SNT-1 possessing receptor 1 was fabricated by sol−gel transcription as a copper-ion receptor. The coloration of SNT-1 was studied by the addition of metal ions in acetonitrile. Interestingly, the addition of Cu2+ in a suspension of SNT-1 resulted in a color change from red to slightly yellow.
