Abstract

Abstract Lichens and Bryophytes from the Bolshoy Thkach region (NW Caucasus) — a first survey Lichens and Bryophytes from the Bolshoy Tkhach region (NW Caucasus) are listed on the base of investigations during three excursions in 1997, 1998 and 1999 completed by some Pezizales, identified by D. BENKERT. Floristic character is quite European. Because of the presence of virgin forests in an unpolluted environment, an anthropogenously unaffected cryptogamic vegetation of European type can be studied here, which has disappeared from large regions in Europe.
