Radioactive Isotopes of the Rare Earths. III. Terbium and Holmium Isotopes

Abstract

A study has been made of neutron deficient radioactive isotopes of terbium and holmium produced respectively by $\ensuremath{\alpha}$-particle bombardments of europium and terbium, and respectively by proton bombardments of gadolinium and dysprosium, using the 60-inch Crocker Laboratory cyclotron. Five new isotopes of each element have been characterized.
