Radial velocities of planetary nebulae

Abstract

A catalog of all known radial velocities and their errors for 524 galactic planetary nebulae is presented. One hundred two sources have been consulted, comprising 920 separate velocity measurements. The authors discuss the various sources of error in the measurements and explain the techniques for their estimation. New radial velocity measurements for 19 planetary nebulae are included. Some basic statistics of the radial velocities of the planetary nebulae population are also presented.
